INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO APPLY TO BE A DESIGNER IN THE SOL INSPIRATIONS SHOW
1) ALL GARMENTS MUST CONFORM TO THESE CRITERIA:
A: At least 95% of textiles and materials used must be post consumer or certified organic and certified ethically produced.
B: Up to 2/3rds of your collection can be post consumer (recycled).
C: Garment labor must be yours or assisted help from within the USA.
D: An optional Avant-Garde piece can be recycled alternative materials.
2) Fill out below application and email a Powerpoint or Word file with photos of previous work and sketches of your proposed show designs to contact@geo-planet.org. Don’t forget your name in the email or we won’t be able to match photos with your application. Sending separate files in one email is fine too, but not preferred. If you prefer to snail mail materials, fill out form below and request snail mail address.
3) Proof of organic and ethically made certification of all non-post consumer textiles and materials used in your collection is required to be submitted one week prior to the show.
